Beacon of Hope...Light of Christ is incorporated and approved as a non-profit, 501(c)3 membership organization. All donations are tax-deductible.
We are funded only by donations of members and friends who understand and believe in the Commission and Commandment of Jesus Christ, as represented in the progressive spirit of Vatican II. Donations are used to:
- Host our Educational Series with noted progressive Catholic and Christian speakers
- Provide suport to individuals who are targeted by Church officials for progressive positions
- Support youth education initiatives and for organizations aiding the poor and disenfranchised
- Provide this website
We are an independent intentional Catholic lay community and as such not chartered or supported by the Green Bay Catholic Diocese or any parish with the jurisdiction of the diocese.
All donations are acknowledged by receipt and the financial affairs of the organization are published annually and are open for review, consistent with the ethical standards of our charter.
